President of the Pilates Rehabilitation Education Association
Yun Byung Gwan is the Director of The Pilates Rehab Education Association (PMA-ITTAP) in South Korea, with over 25 years of professional experience in the fields of fitness, Pilates, and rehabilitation.
Currently, he serves as a professor at four universities in the Department of Physical Therapy and two universities in the Department of Sports Rehabilitation. He is particular recognized for his expertise in movement-based rehabilitation therapy, both in clinical practice and in education.
He holds the PMA-NCPT international certification, and has been an official presenter at PMA 2022 and 2025, as well as a featured speaker at renowned events such as IDEA World, PIA, ACPR, AFIC, and Pilates Festa.
As an international presenter, he is actively engaged in delivering lectures and workshops across the United States, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Vietnam, contributing to the advancement and professionalisation of rehabilitation-based Pilates education throughout Asia and beyond.
